Electrical Engineer - Chicago
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Design and engineering
of power, lighting and communication systems.
Design and engineering
of switchboards and distribution of low and medium voltage systems.
Prepare detailed
engineering designs, equipment specifications and construction bid
packages.
Design and inspection
of electrical power for roadway lighting, tollway and airport systems.
Establish excellent
working relationship with vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science
degree in electrical engineering.
Licensed Professional
Engineer preferred.
Strong working
knowledge of the Chicago and National Electric Code preferred.
Strong working
knowledge of IDOT and ISTHA street lighting preferred.
Minimum five years of
applicable experience.
Proficiency with
Microsoft Word and Excel software.
Working knowledge of
CAD and lighting calculation software preferred.
Structural Engineer -
LaCrosse
BS in Civil or Structural Engineering and 5+ yrs exp in the structural
design of bridges and/or buildings, knowledge of LRFD required. PE/SE
preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel software required.
Knowledge of structural bridge software preferred. Experience with hydraulic
analysis and structure sizing preferred.
In
addition we are continually seeking talented professionals in the following
areas:
Design Engineer - Wisconsin
We are looking for experienced engineering professionals for our LaCrosse,
WI office. We have current openings for Highway Design Engineers with 5+
years of experience. Positions require an accredited civil engineering
degree, knowledge of WisDOT procedures preferred, PE is a plus.
Construction Engineer/Inspector
Responsibilities include construction (highway and bridge) oversight,
monitoring of construction activities to ensure work is completed as
scheduled, ensure materials furnished are in compliance with contract
documents and prepare/maintain accurate daily inspector reports of job site
activities.
Design Engineer - Civil/Electrical/Structural
Responsibilities include planning, designing and overseeing the construction
of building structures, highways, bridges, railroads, transit systems,
airports and other transportation-related facilities.
Architect
Responsibilities include the development and preparation of feasibility
studies, schematic, design development, construction documents and project
specifications. Research materials to determine appropriate selection for
projects. Review construction submittals.
