An integral part of Knight’s practice is maintaining an active construction engineering staff who can help breathe life into the designs of our architects and engineers. Whether the projects take place on multimillion dollar expressways, single-lane municipal roads or public and private facilities, our construction engineers commit to delivering the highest quality of construction work attainable. We oversee coordination of contracts, complete progress reports and inspections and document the materials used in an effort to deliver the most efficient construction schedule at the least cost without compromising quality.

Kingery Expressway Reconstruction
- Provided construction engineering services for the three-year reconstruction program, including the reconstruction of the interchange of two major expressways with directional flyover ramps, separated into six different contracts.
- Work included inspection of the placement of embankment for future structure work, inspection of bridge and pavement removal and replacement, construction of four retaining walls, a cross-road box culvert, and seven bridges.
- Maintenance of traffic was a significant part of this reconstruction.
