Jim Wolfe
Mr. Wolfe is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Knight. Mr. Wolfe is an attorney with past concentrations in transportation, labor relations, regulated industries, real estate transactions, the Railway Labor Act and government relations. He is responsible for leading strategic business planning for the corporation.
Kevin Lentz, PE
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Lentz manages all aspects of Knight’s operations. He is a hands-on leader, providing clear direction for project work and extensive technical expertise while building and maintaining strong working partnerships with clients and industry leaders.

Christine Reed, PE
Christine Reed recently joined Knight after a 22 year career with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). She has a vast portfolio of engineering expertise coupled with an unparalleled knowledge of Illinois’ past, present and future transportation network. As the first woman appointed Director of Highways and Chief Engineer for IDOT, she was responsible for developing, maintaining and operating the state’s multi-billion dollar highway network in a timely, efficient and economical manner.
Leading Knight’s Springfield office, Ms. Reed is a respected professional who uses her extensive engineering knowledge and background to ensure Knight clients receive a quality product as we expand and grow our business. Ms. Reed earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a Registered Engineer in Illinois.
