Jim Wolfe
Mr. Wolfe is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Knight. Mr. Wolfe is an attorney with past concentrations in transportation, labor relations, regulated industries, real estate transactions, the Railway Labor Act and government relations. He is responsible for leading strategic business planning for the corporation.
Kevin Lentz, PE
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Lentz manages all aspects of Knight’s operations. He is a hands-on leader, providing clear direction for project work and extensive technical expertise while building and maintaining strong working partnerships with clients and industry leaders.

As Vice President and principle designer, Charles Smith is dedicated to leading the arete-Knight studio’s creative team with a strong focus on addressing client’s needs in a responsive fashion. With more than 30 years experience, he has collaborated with a wide cross section of municipalities, contractors and end users. His particular areas of expertise consist of the ability to effectively communicate the unique vernacular of any given project while initiating forward-looking solutions. A strong advocate of designing within the context of a site, Mr. Smith examines the economic, as well as social, impacts of a design on the built environment.
