Featured Project - Cook Street Bridge
La Crosse, Wisconsin
Knight recently completed Plans, Specification and Local Let Documents for the City of La Crosse for the construction of a pedestrian and bicycle-path bridge from Cook Street to Isle La Plume over Isle La Plume Slough. The bridge will connect to a bicycle trail currently under design by the City of La Crosse. The bridge was designed to carry vehicular traffic on a temporary basis during the rehabilitation of the Niedbalski Bridge or during an emergency that would render the Niedbalski Bridge inoperable. The bridge was designed to match the aesthetics of the park and residential characteristics of the area.
