Kingery Expressway Reconstruction
Knight
provided construction engineering services for both the
advance work and mainline construction work on the Kingery Expressway,
I-80/94, from the Indiana border to IL 394. Knight’s work on this three
year reconstruction program included the reconstruction of the
interchange of two major expressways with directional fly-over ramps,
separated into six different contracts totaling more than $150 million.
The project received an ACEC Illinois 2008 Honor Award. |

Stevenson Expressway
Knight provided
construction engineering services for more than $200 million of the
Stevenson Expressway Reconstruction Program. Knight was responsible for
inspection of seven different contracts, which included expressway
reconstruction, off-roadway system improvements, high mast lighting and
bridge reconstruction. The construction for these projects was provided
over a five-year period. |

South Lake Shore Drive
Knight provided
construction management and engineering services on a $35 million
section of the South Lake Shore Drive Reconstruction. Our work
included supervision of the roadway reconstruction and underpass
rehabilitation. Knight received a 2005 Engineering Excellence Honor
Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois for
this project. |
