ENGAGING THE COMMUNITY
Knight’s public involvement included attending neighborhood association meetings with the Forest Preserve to help present the project to the neighbors and interviewed district staff and the fleet management department to gain feedback that kept them engaged throughout the design process. Knight also worked with the District’s media relations team to develop project content for publication and provided District staff with periodic updates for presentation to the Board of Commissioners.
